Reyn’s E-shembot is now a certified Ilonggo Dance Track

Ilonggo artist Reyn Callao recently released his third single “E-shembot” featuring Ilonggo rapper Ezzy early this year. The song was released first in Bacolod City FM stations and followed by selected Iloilo FM stations. With its catchy danceable beat and easy-to-remember Ilonggo lyrics, the song has gained massive interest from radio listeners for several months of radio airplay. Right now, the song is currently part of the playlist by several community events and fiesta celebrations. The song itself is easy to listen to, street-smart lyrics with impressive vocals from Reyn and rap verse by Ezzy, who is also another rising artist in Iloilo. Hopefully, both artists wanted to shoot a music video for their song this later year in case Reyn will have a weeklong break from his current tours and gigs in Manila. Reyn is presently undergoing talent workshop and performing gigs with event producer/songwriter Heber Bartolome. Earlier, he was partly involved with the talent team of popular composer Venee Saturno who wrote a lot of recognizable OPM hit songs in the country.

Reyn Callao live in Tugegarao

Ilonggo RnB artist Reyn Callao has moved on to venture with more exposure and gigs away from his home city-Iloilo. After leaving recognizable Ilonggo hit songs such as “Seryoso” and “BahalaKa Na” over Iloilo and Bacolod FM stations last year, he is now in Manila undergoing hectic workshop with several event producers and organizers. This coming July 6, 2001, Sunday 6PM, Reyn with selected on-training music artists, singers and performers will stage a grand concert at Tugegarao City, the northernmost city in Luzon. Reyn is scheduled to perform several original songs with other artists and his very own English song “Travel with Us,” the theme song of itravel Philippines magazine. Reyn is currently one of the few selected artists-on-training under event producer, organizer, concert producer and composer Heber Bartolome. Most of the songs they will perform were composed by Heber who is also their head workshop director for the past weeks. Reyn is hoping to develop his talents and confidence with the continued exposure and support he got from several other event organizers in Manila. He also hopes to bring Ilonggo music whenever they will stage mini-gigs and shows. As a true Ilonggo artist, Reyn has so far proved his talent when he was nominated as Best Male Artist in 2010 Ilonggo Music Awards of ABS-CBN Iloilo ast December 2010. This young Ilonggo artist is hoping to bring back pride for Ilonggo music.

Reyn rediscovering pop life in Manila

Ilonggo RnB artist, Reyn Callao who was nominated for Best Male Artist in the 2010 Ilonggo Music Awards of ABS-CBN Iloilo and a member of Ilonggo 3nity pop group, is presently in Manila to rediscover more where his talent for music can take him. He recently stayed with his older brother Percival Callao who is also an achiever with his musical talent as a pop- balladeer-turned-rock vocalist of a rock band for several years. Percival earned the moniker as “Bon Jovi of the Philippines” as a powerhouse vocalist of a band in Cowboy Grill, a popular resto bar in capital Manila. His impressive vocal prowess and versatility has earned him the admiration of many people. His recent achievement was when he landed the job as a replacement for Zoo Band’s new vocalist, the same band where Arnel Pineda started out. The band constantly played in Hong Kong and their live video performances caught the eye of one of the members of The Journey band in the USA. They immediately hired Arnel Pineda as their vocalist and that’s where his worldwide fame started. To fill up the place of Arnel, Reyn’s older bro will step in this year for Zoo band.

Meanwhile, Reyn came to Manila to expand his horizon aside being one of Iloilo’s noticeable Ilonggo music artists after popularizing Ilonggo remake RnB hit songs such as “Seryoso” and “Bahala Ka Na.” He said in his latest Facebook message that his brother will accompany him to the audition of Pinoy Big Brother in ABS-CBN, Talentadong Pinoy and Willing Willie in TV5 before he leaves for a 2-year Hong Kong contract work with Zoo band.

Definitely, Reyn will be an Ilonggo talent to watch out for as he follows his dream with his big bro. Whether he succeeds or not entering these auditions, time can only tell that this Ilonggo artist is gonna be good in whatever he does.

Reyn Releases 3rd single "E-shembot"

"E-shembot" is the third single of Ilonggo RnB artist Reyn Callao of Ilonggo 3nity featuring Eezzy of SYK Unit . Reyn is nominated for Best Male Artist at the first Ilonggo Music Awards of ABS-CBN Iloilo and MOR 91.1. The dance track is an original composition of Reyn and Eazzy with RSLPhoenix scheduled for Iloilo City and Bacolod City FM stations release this summer of 2011. Reyn is co-managed by RSLPhoenix Music. The music video is coming soon this year.
