Reyn can’t stop posting new teaser clips of his upcoming full music video of his first single “Seryoso” exclusively shot at Savannah in Oton, Iloilo. Though an independent project by rslphoenix music, Reyn Callao has already created a name-recall among his growing Ilonggo fans for his music. “Seryoso” is now played on air in various local FM radio stations. As he promised, the music video will premiere first in his youtube channel and here in his webpage on June 5, 2010.
Treated as a mini-digital film by his innovative young director, Noel de Leon, Reyn’s music video is a proof of their artistic effort to bring back the pride for Ilonggo music. Small and simple as it is, a lot of people are happy to know that Reyn brought back the interest of the public to listen to Ilonggo music with his crossover promotion from local newspapers, radio to local TV.

Reyn waited more than a month for the release of his first independent music video “Seryoso.” Though this is just an independent effort of some of Iloilo’s creative artists, it is still a work of art for them. Reyn posseses good projection on screen and he was able to show his best dance moves in the video. The song itself is ear-catching and radio-friendly reasons why he is proud of what he does. Shot on location at Savannah, the biggest lifestyle community of Camella in Oton, Iloilo, Reyn was honed by young Ilonggo indie-filmmaker Noel de Leon to show his best. He was able to work with a sweet girl, Ms. Cindy Dionela, a young local fashion model in the recent itravel Philippines fashion show at SM City Iloilo last May 20 where Reyn performed the themesong of the magazine entitled “Travel with Us.”
“Seryoso” was released on local FM radio stations more than a month ago and already gained favorable requests from radio listeners. Reyn Callao with Bronze P. promotes itravel Philippines at GMA Arangakada
Reyn Callao with popular Ilonggo rapper, Bronze P. finally performed “Travel with Us,” the official theme song of itravel Philippines at Arangkada, GMA TV-6 morning show last May 19, 2010. As early as 6AM, the two Ilonggo singers with their friends Sheila Barrios and DJ Cliff arrived at the TV station to prepare for their live performance. It was the first time that Reyn and Bronze will perform the song live on TV that they created almost one month ago. rslphoenix wrote the lyrics and Bronze P added rap verse and created a catchy beat for the song.
The two singers prepared the song to become not only a theme song of itravel Philippines magazine and TV program but a testament that Philippine tourism is potentially booming, gaining the affinity of tourists around the world, and a source of cultural pride for Filipinos everywhere. Following their passion for music is not enough for Reyn and Bronze but creating ripples of inspiration through the song is their humble contribution to uplift the hope and hearts of their countrymen. Tourism is indeed redefined through the song that comes with catchy, fresh and crisp lyrics that sounded with a more upbeat pop-hiphop-RnB flavour, something new for radio listeners.
“Travel with Us” was performed again live at SM City Iloilo the next day for the launching of itravel Philippines magazine and TV show (SkyCable channel 13 and 17 every Saturday 10-11AM) produced by i-worx Advertising Company Limited. The song will also be released in all Iloilo’s local FM stations a week after with selected radio tours to promote their repeat show at The Avenue sometime in June.
Ilonggo music is sure to have its rebirth with the release of “Travel with Us,” considered as Reyn’s second single after “Seryoso.”
Reyn reigns in itravel Philippines TV Launching at SM City Iloilo
Reyn Callao proved everything he’s got with his music in the launching of itravel Philippines magazine and TV program last May 20, 2010 at SM City Iloilo. Everything he did for the past two months since his first breakout debut single “Seryoso” leads to his fantastic performance in Iloilo City’s most-loved supermall- SM City Iloilo.
Reyn collaborated with Ilonggo’s prince of rap, Bronze P. for the original theme song of itravel Philippines entitled “Travel with Us.” The lyrics of their tourism-inspired song was penned by rslphoenix and Bronze P who also added rap verse which made the song upbeat, catchy, and something that will make you dance. The opening number of the event was a glitzy performance from the two music artists singing the dance beat version of “Travel with Us” while itravel models simultaneously stunned the audience with their fantastic fashion parade wearing clothes by Salad Dressing and holding a copy of itravel Philippines magazine. Later, Reyn sang for the first time his second solo single “Bahala Ka Na” which will be released in local FM stations later this May and his first single “Seryoso.”
Finally, the crowd was surprise when Reyn and Bronze came back in front to perform the ballad version of “Travel with Us” while Ilonggo designer Ram Silva flaunted his stunning black collection designs worn by itravel models. Truly it was an afternoon of great Ilonggo music, fashion, tourism and good news for itravel Philippines magazine readers because they will be taking glimpse of the best of tourism in their TV screen soon.
