Reyn’s Wowowilie starstruck night

Reyn took the politics fever seriously. In fact, he jumped and danced all night to the music of Wowowilie Revillame himself last May 5. The Ilonggo’s newest RnB singer with his hit song “Seryoso” was invited by Camella Iloilo to watch Willie Revillame’s show at Iloilo Sports Complex that started 4PM and turned out as a spectacular show until midnight. Wille Revillame, the country’s highest paid TV host for Wowowie actually supported the presidential candidacy of Senator Manny Villar and his vice-president candidate Loren Legarda with their strong senatoriables headed by Sen. Merriam Defensor-Santiago, Bongbong Marcos, Satur Ocampo and many others.
But entertainment is the spice of politics as Willie brought his celebrity friends such as John Estrada, Ara Mina, Randy Santiago, Joy Viado, singer Aliyah, Bugoy Drilon, April Boy Regino, Cueshe band’s frontman, diva Jessa Zaragoza, and many others. Of course, Willie’s Wowowie sexy dancers were there to entertain the crowd that burst with excitement. Willie himself played the popular HepHep Hooray game that was participated in by enthusiastic audience who were picked as “Bigatin” from the crowd. Composed mostly by old women, the lucky Lolas were treated well by Willie on stage with cash prizes. Willie also gave some cash to the crowd and his latest CD album.
Reyn and his younger brother, Edward were lucky enough to have free CD from Willie. And they enjoyed their rare opportunity to pose for picture-taking with all the celebrities all throughout the night. Aside from inspiring politicians who talk about their good intentions, there was an explosive fireworks display and yes, a lot of singing, dancing, and fun.
But what’s inspiring that night was when Reyn finally meet Bugoy, the shy “provincial” singer who made it big with his dream in PDA. Bugoy was very humble and nice to everyone. He even encouraged Reyn to follow what he love to do. We hope Reyn will find his dream soon... one step at a time.
