Reyn's live performance at GMA's Arangkada

Reyn performed his single “Seryoso” live at Arangkada of GMA TV 6 last April 9, 2010. Reyn was a bit overwhelmed to the staff that welcomed him and listened to everything he said during the brief interview with witty host, Kate. Though he was a bit shy, Reyn remained confident to share his thoughts, his humble beginning, and his music to the televiewers. As early as 6:30 am, Reyn arrived on the set of the morning show that has been capturing the affinity of the Ilonggos.

Reyn wore the exclusive design shirt of Fashion Mafia, an Ilonggo-inspired urban wear promoting Iloilo’s pride. Fashion Mafia is supportive to Reyn and other Ilonggo talents who are enthusiastic to promote Ilonggo culture. For his part, Reyn represents the revival of Ilonggo pop music that had been unheard for quite some time.

Arangkada of GMA TV 6 is more than just an early morning entertainment and reliable source of local news, it’s a celebration of Ilonggo culture. It continues to elevate local television with their crisp and interesting features about Iloilo, the Ilonggo people, and a lot more. The show’s entertaining hosts Mark Nunieza, Charlene Belvis, Kate and Macoy are making waves, too. In fact, they do have a popular facebook account that directly connects with their fans and televiewers, the best way to tap the new media of cyberspace. They assured that you will see once again Reyn’s performance episode in their facebook account soon. For 2010, Reyn is optimistic and excited for the great things to come for his passion for music. Singing live for him is an expression as a artist. It’s already a bonus that people learn to appreciate his music and goal to entertain. His final music video for “Seryoso” is coming soon and the launching of his second single “Bahala Ka Na” is sure to follow. But he will also release a special single together with Ilonggo rapper Bronze P of Mang Inasal fame—the itravel Philippines magazine themesong.

Reyn is truly grateful to Arangkada for giving him a chance to show his gift for music and at the same time proved that Ilonggo music is starting a new direction.
